Hi, Do you have any Stansalls in your family tree? I am researching my early (1500-1600s) Derbyshire Stansall family. I also know a lot about the 1800′s Stansalls in Nottinghamshire. I have seen the name Maddock(s) somewhere in ancestry.com with the name Harold Stansall b. 1910 in Newark. Was there any relation? Harold’s parents were George and Florence Amelia Stansall.I would also like to correspond to anyone researching the early Derbyshire Stansalls (pre-1680) Thank you!

No, I’m afraid I haven’t come across any Stansalls – the only Maddocks in my tree are Elizabeth and her parents/siblings, so far too early for your Harold. Sorry about that. This blog does show up in Google though, so there’s an always a chance someone come across this post and recognise the people you’re looking for!
